Malayalam Study Bible 3.2.2

This Malayalam Study Bible provides a thorough examination of the Holy Bible, authored and published by individuals who uphold the belief that the scripture is entirely divine in origin. We affirm that all 66 books were directly inspired by God, with their authors writing accurately in the original languages—Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic—exactly as God intended. Consequently, we have no hesitation in referring to the Bible as the Word of God.

1. Our highest authority in affirming this conviction is Jesus Christ Himself. In Matthew 4:4, Jesus taught us that the Old Testament scriptures originated “from the mouth of God.” He also stated that not even a single letter would be abolished from Moses’ law until everything was fulfilled (Matthew 5:18), and He affirmed David’s psalms were written through the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Mark 12:36). Jesus acknowledged that Israel’s leaders received “the word of God” and that “the Scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35). His teachings consistently pointed to divine origin, asserting they came directly from God (John 12:49; 14:24), and He emphasized that the Holy Spirit would guide His apostles into “all truth” (John 16:13). The apostles learned that all Old Testament scriptures were given through “divine inspiration” (2 Timothy 3:16), and prophecy was delivered through men “moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21).
2. It is important to clarify that our goal in composing these notes is solely to assist readers in better understanding and applying God’s Word. These comments reflect years of diligent study and are intended to avoid preconceived notions or biases. We acknowledge human fallibility, and readers are encouraged to identify any errors or interpretive mistakes they may perceive. Should such issues be identified, we welcome corrections in future editions. Our constant aim is to uphold truth—nothing less is acceptable—or else we risk misrepresenting God’s revelation. We emphasize accuracy in scriptural explanation and strive to present the biblical text faithfully.
3. Throughout these notes, numerous references are provided, complemented by an appendix at the end. While we believe these references are accurate, we recognize that proofreading may not catch all errors, and some inaccuracies may still exist. Readers are encouraged to point out any mistakes they find for our correction and improvement.
